Receipts 03:25
You are cold, stone cold, your love is old where mine is new. Your life is borrowed and I am blue, pressed against the window looking in on you.. Liars and cheats, honest in deceit, don't keep receipts there'll be no goods returning You keep your cool when you're cruel, cooler to be kind in a shallow world we'll just get left behind. Your shop's unmanned, your shutter's down, my custom understands the recession in you. I'll raise complaint, I'm not a saint, but you dismissed me far too easily. Liars and cheats, honest in deceit, don't keep receipts there'll be no goods returning, returning, returning, there'll be no goods returning... You can keep all your stock, I'll go round the block, 'cause I know what's in store and I'm in for a bore..

Eventually 02:52
You've been let down, made obsolete, face trodden on by all of the feet of this stubborn town, still you stick around, what will it take to iron your frown? Every day depends on the words that you say to me, every word depends on your love eventually. Take your woes for a spin, take them out on high seas, adjust your soul to the wind and forget about me. Come back to the fold, come in from the cold, you're never too old, may your days be golden. Every day depends on the words that you say to me, every word depends on your love eventually. You've been sold out by those you held dear still you hold them near, while your foes get closer.

Cut It Out 03:16
No I won't share my opinions with you, 'cause your sponge sucks up til it can't mop up and they'll all become your views, what will you have me do? You can 'wideeyes' and raise eyebrows all you want, you can hide behind all the highbrow lines, you can taunt to your bitter heart's desire, but your argument's retired... Light me a match, let it burn to the skin, the time I've been with you isn't much more of a thing. A love that isn't evolving becomes extinct, and you can't be the missing link or bring it back from the brink, or give me a minute to think, but you can drag your heels... No i won't share my creations with you 'cause your scalpel tongue makes the demons run and you'll cut up what I do for the sake of your review. Nothing so acute as the sharp pain of truth when truth is, the one you love doesn't share the love with you. A love that isn't evolving becomes extinct, and you can't be the missing link, you can't bring it back from the brink, or give me a minute to think.

Consumption 02:55
55 years dead and they all still head to the site where your old bones lie, where your headstone has a tale of its own, where all your weary travellers cry... 35 years gone but the King lives on in a place where the holy's roll, where Graceland is a world of its own, where all the pilgrims gather and cry... Rolling through the teens, we consumed your text, how else were we to feel? You were so complex... Seventy years strong still hiding out in song, from a place where few men roam and where there's no direction home...

Let's hit the ground running and we'll run aground crashland before we even hit the sky, perhaps our bodies won't be found... You've been living off the land all of your life, never even thought to take yourself a wife, I'll marry you tomorrow if you'd just take a knife to me... Darling won't you set me free? We can make it look like an accident, won't you take your life with me? We can fill our shoes up with cement, we could string ourselves up in a tree or drink some electricity, we'd have insurers on their knees, won't you take the trip please? Over dinner we could play Russian roulette bite the bullet and place yourself a bet, hasn't your body grown too tired yet? Drink the nectar from the poisoned cup, give me your hand in marriage and I'll slice it up! Darling our legend will live on in song... We'll go down in history if you ride the deathtrain along with me, if I can't have you nor will she, won't you honour me my plea? I'll murder you, you murder me we'll leave a bloody legacy, we could die so happily, won't you take a sip please? You could hold you me in your arms, bring about ultimate harm, I'll succumb to all your charms, we'll unplug the smoke alarm. Darling I've saved up all my pills, let's fly far away from all our ills, they'll redletter all our bills, can we go to sleep please?

I used to have to make my peace, I couldn't bare the weight of your cold feeling now your hate doesn't leave me reeling there is no crime in leaving. Tried to sentence me for breaking free, but your tactics never worked on me. Fed him fear you'd take your love away leave him fearing what he'll be without it (I have no cause to doubt it) You said I had a noble face, said I had infinite grace, but these things are so easy to replace, they're so easy to replace. I fell within your empire but fell short of your control and your watchers on night patrol, it's not 'who' it's 'what' you know. It should be function over fashion, 'cause when you're in some throw of passion you're only getting back to Adam primates who fell upon the atom. The conditions of your love made it easy to let go of and dispose of, and I don't know what was I afraid of. The conditions of your love made it easy to let go of, and dispose of, oh i was deprived of something i was worthy of, I was worthy of... Well I softened your heart a little but not enough to enable the love that could flow from you like it flowed from me when I came to make my peace. The conditions of your love made it easy to to let go of, and dispose of, and I don't know what I was afraid of.

Stickleback 02:46
He'll never pay them back The folk who had his back, Those who had him back, now they'd rather stick a knife in his back. He was more taken with what he could take from them. I've been trying to see the boy I once saw, but now I'm not sure of what I first saw. Maybe I am mistaken the boy has been taken for the beast I see now the boy has forsaken I'm just trying to see the boy I once saw, but now I'm not sure of what I first saw. I caught you stickleback but I put him back, a scar in his mouth and one on his back. Another he will hook, (live bait and flies) she may discard him or cook him alive. Shouldn't have told all those lies, shouldn't have told all those lies.

Man Mantra 02:27
I made a man, made a man, made a man, made a mantra. The mantra tantamount to witchcraft I cast the words so well. I cast a spell. I bit my lip, cut my lip, wet my lip and the blood it dripped. pooled in a dip, in a dip, in a dip a metallic sip. My lips they let me dwell. I made a wish, caught a fish for a dish I would serve up cold. I could hunger longer letting the lucky fish grow old, cast him into the well! I cast a spell, my lips they cast it well. I cast a spell, my lips they cast it well.
9.
Our Systems 03:51
You said that our systems are like tiles in the kitchen too many cracks to fester in. We need a clean wall or no wall at all. the more you speak the more I heed the less I speak myself You said human kind is a child left behind we are unsupervised, surviving Lord of The Flies And you taught me McCartney orchestrated whole symphonies without knowing any theory, herein lies the mystery. The more you speak the more I heed, the less I speak myself the more I wonder what we need to save us from ourselves.

Mr. Bones 03:15
11.
There is white outside your eyes, as much in daylight sees the night, as black as your heart might have been, no thought behind no thought within There's a way to go there's a way to go Lead along your destination, your lane's elation, leave your bags at the station, your feet need more. you want away, away, away from home you want away, away, away from home you want away, away, away from home you want away The road your on it snakes and bends, the road I'm on won't make amends, snap the Ley line, shake the map, drop the compass and transcend. There's a way to go there's a way to go Lead along your destination, your lane's elation, leave your bags at the station, your feet need more. You want away, away, away from home, you want away, away, away from home, you want away, away, away from home, you want away [Repeat] All the inroads to the core are fraught with holes, are fraught with gore, who is it you should answer for before you get your fourscore? All the films they fed to me to keep me up awake 'til three, I thought I'd learn something I'd use a happy template to amuse. See the marching of a girl concealing crimes from other girls, concealing time against her face, another year in the rear view. There's a way to go. There's a way to go.
